Etsy US seller fees as checked October 16, 2026: 20¢ listing, 6.5% transaction, 3% + 25¢ processing. Offsite Ads are 15%, or 12% for shops over $10,000 a year, where they can’t be turned off. Handfair’s buyer service fee covers the marketplace and card processing, is charged once per shop and is shown before payment. Optional promotions cost extra.

Does it cost anything to sell?
No listing fees and no commission on item sales. Buyers see a service fee at checkout that funds Handfair and payment processing. Shipping and tax are added for the buyer too. If you choose to offer memberships, Handfair keeps 10% of each monthly membership payment, plus Stripe’s costs for that payment. See the fees and selling policy.
Will shoppers find my work?
Handfair is new, so our shopper audience is still growing. There are no listing fees or subscriptions, so your shop costs nothing to keep while Handfair grows.
Can I keep my Etsy shop?
Yes. Lots of makers sell in more than one place. You can import listings from an Etsy CSV export. See how the import works.
How do I get the Founding Maker badge?
Within 14 days of signing up, finish your profile (photo, name, handle and bio, shared publicly), publish at least one listing and connect payouts through Stripe. Once all three are done, a Claim badge button appears in Handfair. It’s limited to the first 50 makers to claim. If you miss the 14 days, you can still sell with the same fees, just without the badge.
When do I get paid?
After you mark an order shipped, your share is sent to your Stripe account about 7 days later (longer for slow shipping services, and 14 days when the tracking isn’t from USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL). Stripe then pays it out to your bank on your payout schedule.
