Founding Creators are makers we invite to help introduce Handfair to other makers. It’s invite-only and hand-picked by the person who built Handfair. There’s no follower minimum: we look at the work and how you share your craft.
What Founding Creators get

It shows on your shop next to your name.

It plays at the top of your shop and in the Founding Creators row on the home page.
- Early access
New seller tools reach Founding Creators before everyone else, and your feedback shapes what we build next.
Plus what every maker gets: you keep 100% of your item price. Buyers pay a small service fee at checkout.
What we ask
- One short intro video
30 to 60 seconds, filmed on your phone, in your own words: who you are, what you make, and why you’re on Handfair. Post it on your account and tag @shophandfair.
- Say it’s a partnership
The badge and features count as something of value, so add Instagram’s Paid partnership label or #HandfairPartner to the post.

How do I become a Founding Creator?
It’s by invitation. If you make things by hand and share your craft, open your shop on Handfair and email hello@handfair.com with your shop link. We read every note.
Do Founding Creators get paid?
No. Founding Creators get the badge, the features above and early access. Like every maker, you keep 100% of every item price. If you offer memberships, Handfair keeps 10% of each membership payment plus Stripe's costs.
Is it the same as Founding Maker?
No. Founding Maker is a badge for Handfair’s first makers who finished their shop early. Founding Creator is by invitation. You can have both.
